Inside the Treehouse
The Buzzardry sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms (which can either be used as 2 doubles or 1 double and 1 twin), each room has its own ensuite shower room. The master bedroom also has a luxurious copper bath with views over the woodland.
The open plan living area and kitchen has all mod cons; oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and sink. There is a dining area for four, and a comfortable seating area which includes a TV and woodburner (wood provided) to make things extra cosy in the winter months. There is also underfloor heating throughout the treehouse. We are plumbed in and on grid with broadband available.
Outside the Treehouse
Outside is a spacious deck, where you can look over the lakes into the gardens and fields beyond. It has a table and chairs for outdoor dining, and a gas BBQ. The lake gardens are available for you to enjoy, as is the tennis court in the grounds of Marklye.
The local area
The Treehouse is in walking distance (500m) of Rushlake Green, a picture perfect East Sussex village, with its own shop and pub. There are numerous other excellent pubs in walking distance. We are well situated for the South Downs National Park, Glydnebourne, Batemans, Bodiam Castle, the Sussex Coast, 1066 country and everything else that Sussex (and Kent) have to offer and we are only 60 miles from central London.
